Would Colleges Even Care?

Any a-g courses taken before the start of senior year will be calculated into your GPA. Community college courses that are 3+ units and designated as "UC-transferable" are weighted like AP courses. Having community college courses will make you more competitive for UC admissions. It doesn't matter if the courses are related to your intended major. Course rigor (number of advanced courses) is just as important as your GPA.
