What is a good $$ amount to save as the Groom?

the cost depends on how big a wedding you're having, and how large the wedding party is. we had 6 in our wedding party and spent $450 for flowers. we had 100 guests and dinner was $50 each. but I can't relate to the bride and groom splitting the cost like that, I mean if you're ready to be married you better be ready to merge all your finances. I set a budget with my fiance and we came in $200 under. some things I splurged on and some things I skimped on, but it all came out of 1 budget that the two of us had.
