Can you make Chicken and Dumplings in a crock pot?

Would Chicken And Dumplings taste better if cooked in a crock pot? If so would you fix them the same way as you would on the stove? About how long would it take for them to be done? Has anyone ever tried this? If so let me know how they turned out.
